Scope

This privacy statement explains users on the nature, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the responsible provider.

The legal basis of data protection can be found in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), the Telemedia Act (TMG) and look into the "Impressum/Datenschutz" in the german text.

We may provide your data as appropriate to business advisers such as our tax accountant or auditor.

Right to correction or deletion of your personal data

The GDPR provides you with the right to review the personal data that we have collected from you, to correct it if appropriate, or to ask us to delete it without delay. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the responsible national authority.

The period for which your personal data will be stored

Our normal practice is to retain your personal data indefinitely if you have consented to receive marketing materials or newsletters; otherwise, we delete your data 60 days after the end of the class in which you have participated. German law requires us however to maintain certain financial data for much longer periods of time.

Our web hosting services are provided by Strato AG. As a German firm, they are governed by the GDPR, as we are.

We send newsletters and other marketing information or material subject to your explicit consent by electronic means, by post, or by contacting you by telephone.

We send newsletters not more often than once per month on average.

As previously noted, you can contact us at any time to ask that we discontinue sending you newsletters or other marketing material.

Security of processing
